Union Square GP – Day 1
The Union Square Grand Prix is exceeding all expectations with an exciting first days racing. Andy Moore is leading the touring car class with his prototype Hot Bodies Cyclone, but he is not having at it all his own way as Xray driver Phil Chambers his hot on his bumper.
The public interest in the event has been massive with the public being allowed a chance to have a try with some ready to run cars at the end of each round of qualifying. The fastest public laps are being recorded and the fastest five of the race for a prize at the end of each day. The event has a real carnival feel with even an appearance from “The Stigâ€
The 1:12 class is being led by Andy Sawyer from Chris Clark and Tom Jefferies. The final day is Sunday with one round of qualifying and three finals for all the drivers.
