The JBRL kicked off the 2010 season with a two-day event at Thunder Alley RC Raceway in Beaumont California. The host of the 2008 ROAR Nationals, the world-class venue is a perfect spot for Jimmy Babcock & Co. to start the year out right.

Thunder Alley curator Rob Jackson and son Levi had the place in tiptop condition, and also installed one of the most amazing layouts you could imagine. The buzz in the pits was how fun, flowing and incredible the layout was, featuring one entire corner of wash board, a huge tall camel hump, long table top, and several other series of jumps

Pro-Line driver Ryan Cavalieri took the win in Expert Truck and Pro-Line driver Dylan Rodriguez taking 3rd.

Following the pit stop, Cavalieri slowly stretched out a lead on King, as Cody looked to be conceding and in cruise control saving fuel. Suddenly Mugen’s Dylan Rodriguez was on Cody’s tail with just a few laps to go. Cody would hold off the hard charging youngster, and Dylan crashing with one lap to go. Cavalieri cruised to the win, with King second, and Rodriguez 3rd. Cavalieri and Rodriguez both opted for the Holeshot VTR tyres.
