RC Pro Series Rocky Mountain Division Rd1
Team Pro-Line drivers Scott Spear and Adrian Redding find success at the opening round of the RC Pro series Rocky Mountain Division held in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
In Pro Buggy Adrian would grab overall TQ after 4 rounds or qualifying. Scott would qualify 3rd overall. The Main Event was set to be a challenge for all the drivers as the track had blown out greatly. The track conditions had ruts and loose dirt almost everywhere on the surface. The 30-minute main would see Adrian take the holeshot for the first few laps with Scott in pursuit. A couple mistakes by Adrian would see Scott take the lead and drive a comfortable pace to take the win. Adrian would finish 2nd giving Pro-Line the 1-2 finish. Adrian and Scott both used M4 compound Hole Shot tyres and Bulldog bodies on their Associated RC8B buggies.
In Pro Truggy class Scott would qualify 2nd and take the lead on the first lap and never look back. Winning the Class by over a lap. Scott’s tyre of choice in the Truggy class was VTR Holeshot in M3 Compound. Bulldog body for his RC8T was also used.
In the growing Electric buggy class Scott would take the Top spot in qualifying and finish 1st. This would complete an impressive 3 wins in the opening round of the series for Scott.
