This free-to-enter competition offers you the chance to win a Tamiya XB Pro Sand Scorcher. After celebrating the widely anticipated re-release of the Sand Scorcher kit after 30 years, Tamiya can now offer an expert built (XB) version complete with radio and electronics installed. Like the Sand Scorcher 2010 kit, the XB Pro version features ribbed front tyres and paddle rear tyres, although the RTR version you see here is a limited edition with only a small production run planned.

Four-wheel independent suspension features front double trailing arm and rear swing axle set-ups, die-cast suspension arms and oil shock absorbers

Electronics and battery are protected by a durable clear plastic box

Chassis made from 2mm thick FRP plate with an aluminium reinforcing plate for strength and flexibility
