TLR 22 Wins World Champs Warm-Up
TLR driver Darren Bloomfield defied the odds to claim the 2WD Worlds Warm-Up title in Vassa Finland on 21 May. The UK driver who has largely contested nitro classes in recent years proved that neither he nor the TLR22 are slouches when it comes to the sharp end of international electric off-road competition. Having tested the 22 in both mid and rear motor configurations, Darren was able to select the most optimal format for the tricky track conditions and proceeded to be amongst the most consistent runners throughout qualifying scoring a joint lowest score with TQ man Jared Tebo to line up on the front row of the grid. However, it was Darren who held his nerve throughout the finals to secure the plaudits for himself and the innovative 22 racing buggy with wins in the second and third legs of the A finals.
