2011 Midlands Dirt Masters at Coventry Model Car Club
GB Modelsport will be promoting the 2011 Midlands Dirt Masters in partnership with Coventry Model Car Club. The event sees two days of action over the weekend of 9-10 July on the superb Coventry dirt track for 1:8 nitro buggies, plus limited entry support classes for 1:8 electric buggies, truggies and short course trucks.
Saturday will feature five rounds of qualifying and the day will be rounded off with a very special feature race with cash prizes. There’s also free camping on Saturday night plus a BBQ. Podium RC will be trackside with the shop throughout the event, to cater for all your spares, fuels and accessories.
Sunday will see extended finals for all nitro classes with the top drivers bumping up. The electric classes will also run extended two-leg finals.
GB Modelsport will be supporting a raffle with some super prizes up for grabs, and there will be trophies for the top places in all classes plus awards for TQ (nitro buggy) and THE JQ TQ for the highest placed qualifier driving a JQ buggy.All profits from the event will be donated to the Warwickshire Air Ambulance. Entries will be available through the CMCC website soon.
