Silverstone RCMCC to Host Area 51 GP

Taking place on the weekend of 14-15 January 2012, Silverstone RCMCC are hosting the Area 51 GP at a new location in Banbury, Oxfordshire. Catering for 2WD, 4WD and short course trucks, the race is advertised as the largest indoor event of the year and will take place on a track that is 800 square metres in size. Schumacher Racing has already pledged their support of the event and will solely use their Minipin tyres in all classes whilst TTRC Live will be covering it on their site. Booking in goes live at 8pm on Sunday 30 October via the Silverstone club website at www.silverstonercmcc.co.uk

Already the RC industry is pledging their help with the likes of RudeBits, Horizon Hobby UK, Inside Line Racing, RCS Graphic Worx and of course Racer Magazine getting behind the club and the race. Look out for more updates as we get it as the drivers sign up and more companies come on board…
