Team Associated’s Ryan Cavalieri Triple at Northern Nationals

Team Associated report from the Northern Nationals:

The Proving Grounds Raceway is a fairly new facility in the northern part of the United States, and with a strong group of locals and motivated organisers, the track is looking to put itself on the map. This past weekend, the facility played host to the Third Annual Northern Nationals and together with the event organiser, Team Associated arranged for World Champion Ryan Cavalieri to attend.
Fresh off his two victories the week before in Wisconsin, Cavalieri made the trip back to the Midwest to compete against some of the best Michigan has to offer. With top qualifying honours in Modified 2WD Short Course, Modified 2WD Truck and Modified 2WD Buggy, Cavalieri was again the cream of the crop and setting the quickest pace. Facing the ever-changing track conditions and challenging layout, Cavalieri made good on his top qualifying positions and brought home the triple victory with his Factory Team SC10, T4.1 and B4.1, all equipped with Pro-Line bodies and tyres.
Congratulations also go out to privateers Caleb Vandam for taking the win in 1:8 Electric Buggy with his RC8Be and Aydin Horne for taking the win in 17.5T Buggy with his B4.1. Thanks to the Proving Grounds for a great event and to all the participants for making the event memorable.
