JR Mitch Wins with JConcepts at 2012 FORCE Finals

The final round of the 2012 FORCE Series was held this past weekend in Lutz, Florida at the Hurricane RC clubs venue inside Lake Park. Home of some of the fastest nitro racers in the state, the competition is always top notch. With the tracked prepped, and practice completed, it was time to get to racing. In the first round of the 1:8 Pro class, TQ went to JR Mitch with his TLR 8ight 2.0 equipped with JConcepts Hybrids. As is typical of racing in Florida, the track gets faster as the day goes on and this would be no different. With the track changing and getting quicker JR saw his first round time bumped down to third where he would begin the final. For the A final, TQ man Billy Easton led at the beginning, with JR moving into second on the first lap. With Billy in the lead and JR closely following, the battle began. Changes throughout the first half of the race saw the two drivers move through traffic and pit stops. JR finally gained the lead for good, and held on to finish on the top step of the podium. JR equipped his TLR 8ight 2.0 with JConcepts all weekend including the freshly released Finnisher 8ight 2.0 body while Hybrids in Blue compound gripped the Florida dirt with speed and durability.

In Mod SCT, JR again took the top spot using the 3Ds tyre in green compound while the JConcepts Hi-Flow body topped off the XXX-SCT to complete his weekend.
