Once again the British weather was at its best to stop racing as the track had been under water earlier in the week , but a break in the weather allowed the water to be removed and the track prepped.
The conditions started off frozen then thawed, before freezing again for the finals making conditions challenging throughout the day. Simon Reeves took TQ in the buggy class pushed hard by Karl Jackson and Jon Hazelwood. Truggy TQ went to Harry Phillips. The finals would all be 15-minutes with a 20-minute A final.
Finals
Michael Vaughan won the buggy E final from Rick Spiers and Nabeel Din. In the F final, the podium was Rob York, Shaun Gumbs and Liam Dawney. Matthew Wheeler won the C final from Robert Brooks and Rob York. In the B final, first was Janos Nagy, second Bart Banach and third Richard Barton. The buggy A final saw an epic battle between Reeves, Jackson and Hazlewood until with three to four minutes left, Jon and Karl slipped back a bit. Simon Reeves would end up taking the win from Karl Jackson and Jack Embling. The truggy A final was won by Richard Cousins from Harry Philips and Rod Adams.
