Kája Novotny reports from the second round of the Olomouc Cup that took place on 22 June:
As it was raining, the start of the race was delayed. Practice was possible but nobody really wanted to drive their cars on wet Astroturf so my first qualification was my first drive on the track. After qualification in 4WD I took TQ and in 2WD struggled with speed control issues so TQ went to local driver Tomas Koudelka with his RDRP-equipped Team Durango DEX210 with Plus 11mm chassis.
For the 2WD finals we made some changes, put some weights on the rear and finished second overall. Tomas Koudelka didn’t give anyone a chance and won all three finals. In 4WD I finished first in all three finals with Marek Schiller (Team Durango DEX410) second overall and Tomas Koudelka (Team Durango DEX410) third overall on the podium. After the race we stayed at the track and made some more changes. After locating the problems with the speed control, my 210 was as fast as the 410.
