Simple and compact the new Power Pal Peak from Etronix is the ideal entry-level charging source for NiCd and NiMH batteries. With the option of using either an AC or DC power supply, the Peak can be used at home, in the car or at the field. Selectable charge rates provide amp settings to suit most needs and battery capacities, whilst the peak detection software eliminates damaging over charging. The charge rate is selectable between 1A and 2A on AC and an extra 4A option using a DC supply. The output has short circuit protection circuitry and an LED light and beeper indicates charging status.
