The second of HNMC’s summer series kicked off on 4 May at the Westmill Farm venue. Summer had most definitely arrived with sunshine all day rewarding the 80 drivers who made the trip. Qualifying in the buggy class went to Simon Reeves, truggy was taken by James Tatlow and E-buggy saw Bart Banach was on top.
In the truggy A final, Michael Shorey got the better of pole sitter James Tatlow to take the win with HNMC’s own James Thompson in third.
Bart Banach converted his pole position into a win in E-buggy as Nigel Morris took second and Tom Upson third.
In the nitro finals, the buggy E final saw Al Lee win from James Stevens and Hayward Le Grange. Craig Meakin won the D final from Steve Carrigan and Michael Saggers. In the C final, Josh Johnson took the win from Chris Hopcroft and Jamie Reeks. Harry Philips was first in the B final from Darren Warburton and C final winner Josh Johnson. The A final saw the TQ man Simon Reeves take the win from Ian Barnard and Tom Saggers.
