The first new item for the recently released Schumacher Mi5evo chassis is this alloy version designed for high traction conditions, usually carpet, but can be used on treated tarmac tracks or any other surface with high traction. It provides a stiffer car with a lower centre of gravity for better corner speed. Manufactured from 2mm thick, high quality aluminium, it features ground edges to improve the smoothness in cornering.
You can also fit these new CNC alloy eccentrics that replace the standard plastic parts for greater precision and accuracy when adjusting the belt tension.
Instead of the stock 3mm washers, Schumacher can now offer 0.5mm alloy wishbone spacers that are used to precisely adjust the wishbone height off the chassis, otherwise known as roll centre. These also slightly add to the stiffness in the area, and you get eight of them all measuring 0.5mm thick in one pack.
Finally there is a centre body post set that is perfect for use on high speed circuits where the windscreen and bonnet of the body can deform at high speed.
