Hupo Hönigl Joins Team Serpent Top level international driver Hupo Hönigl has signed for Serpent and will represent them in both for off- and on-road classes. He will race all major off-road events in 1:10-scale 2WD, 4WD, ST and SCT with Spyders, as well as all main 1:8-scale events with the Cobra line of electric- and nitro-powered truggies and buggies. With his vast experience he will be a big help to all Serpent drivers, competing in Austria, Germany as well as the USA.
Billy Easton, Serpent’s chief off-road designer has known Hupo for a very long time, and they hope to be able to use the test and race results to develop the cars to an even higher level! Look out for their results at the up-coming Reedy Race and EOS. Alongside the off-road classes, Hupo will also pilot the Serpent S120 1:12 race chassis and work together with Michael Salven and Paul Ciccarello on the development and test side. Hupo will race some big events like the EC and IIC and more local events.
