Some 73 racers attended round two of the HNMC summer series showing how strong club racing is with a 1:8 national on the same weekend.
The track was dry and hard packed with high grip. Qualifying saw Tommy Chung take TQ in nitro buggy, Alex Michael fastest in truggy and Richard Cousins was top in E-buggy.
The finals saw Jason Patey win the E final from Peter Bird and James Spicer. The D final was taken by Wayne Buckhorn with Steve Carter second and Neil Twitchen third. Peter Munford was first in the C final ahead of Colin Parsfield and Chris Smoothy. The B final win went to David Griffiths, second was Stewart Wilcox and third Keith Harris. In the A final Tommy Chung converted pole into a win with Darren Warburton second and Stewart Wilcox third. As in nitro buggy, pole man Richard Cousins took the win from Ian Fuller and Matt Bridge.
Alex Michael won truggy from Nick Theo and Paul Britton.
